Sicily and I first talked over the phone just a few weeks before Brandon and I moved to Utah. She and Josh were set to get married 3 days after our move, so the timing was perfect. They had an intimate micro wedding planned in Sandy, Utah with their close friends and family.

— Getting Ready & Details —

Sicily’s family rented a beautiful home in Sandy, Utah. I arrived just as Sicily was getting ready and was able to capture the day from beginning to end. Sicily got dolled up with the help of her amazing cousin and sister.

One thing that stood out to me this day was the love that Sicily has for everyone around her. Her care and love towards her family and friends radiated the entire day.

— FIRST LOOK —

Josh and Sicily opted for doing a first look prior to going to the ceremony location. I placed Josh in a nice spot of the backyard where he waited for Sicily to join him. Their family watched and cheered them on from the balcony.

Sicily and Josh had their ceremony at Sugar House Park. It was a clear summer day and the mountains really showed off! They were married by Sicily’s uncle, who got ordained just for the occasion. They had a perfect micro wedding but livestreamed the entire ceremony for their friends and family miles away.

— reception —

The house that they rented for the reception had a nice size backyard. There was a cute waterfall with a bridge, a trampoline for the kids to play on, a large balcony and deck, and huge grass area.

Sicily’s stepfather prepared all of the food that night. After dinner, Sicily and Josh’s siblings shared great speeches, they cut into the cake, and shared their first dance. There were smiles, tears, and lots of laughs. Josh even danced with Sicily’s brother, which was incredible!
