When I expanded my services to Utah, I realized how popular bridal sessions were. Bridal sessions aren’t really a thing in Hawai’i, and I wish they were! Bridal sessions are done about 2-4 weeks before your wedding day. You get all dolled up just as you would on the big day and get photos done. There are so many amazing reasons why bridal photos should be done. Here’s 4 for you + a bonus at the end! 🙂

SAVES TIME ON THE WEDDING DAY

Doing bridal photos in advance will save you a ton of time on your wedding day. This is one less thing that you’ll have to do! If possible, you can do these photos at the venue so that they match with your other wedding photos. But, there is no rule that says you have to do them there. Get creative with it!

GREAT PRACTICE & BONDING

Schedule your bridal photos on the same day of your hair and makeup trial. Don’t put that look to waste! Just like doing engagement photos, bridal photos let you bond with your vendors. You’ll be able to hang out with your photographer, videographer, hair and makeup artist!

USE THESE PHOTOS AS A GIFT

Take your bridal photos, put them in an album, and gift them to your other half! But remember – give it to them after the festivities. We don’t want them to see you in your wedding dress yet!

ASSESS AND MAKE CHANGES

Bridal photos will allow you to do a test run and figure out any changes that need to be made for the wedding day, For example, a change in makeup or hair look, or even make some last minute adjustments to your wedding dress.

BONUS: ADD IN A FIRST LOOK

Add in a first look and save time on the big day! You can bring your partner along, do a private and intimate first look, and get more photos done together! While you can still get some photos done on your wedding day, you’ll have even more to cherish.
